Ghost Hunter's Investigation Group and Crossroads Paranormal did a joint investigation of the Historic Elwood Opera House in Elwood, Indiana on April 11,2009.
First, I will tell you about some of the personal experiences.
Mike and Kris Baker, from Crossroads Paranormal, brought along their K2 meter. They were saying that it had never lit up for them before. The K2 meters, both theirs and ours, remained quite active all night long. In fact, one of the EVP's listed below is during one of the active periods.
Also, one of our investigators experienced a touch from behind her.
Finally, in the banquet room, we had what I thought was the best personal experience. Our K2 meter was on a table with G.H.I.G. members and it lit all the lights suddenly. The lights went out just as sudden as they had come on. Crossroads K2 meter then did the same thing on the next table over. After the lights went out on their meter, activity moved to the table where our tech person was sitting. There was no K2 meter at this table. One of our equipment bags suddely fell from a chair to the floor. Now, this may not sound like a big deal except the bag had been sitting solidly on that chair all night long. Not only that but the bag "fell" from the side of the chair and landed about a foot away. Unfortunately, none of the cameras caught the bag "falling".
Here are five of our recorded EVP's from the investigation.
Please remember that the best way to listen to EVP's is to use headphones.
The first three were recorded in the same room within two minutes of each other.

The next EVP was recorded in the room with the bar in it.
Kris and Mike Baker were doing an EVP session and I happened to be in there. There is background noise and voices but you can still pick out the word "no" after Kris' second comment.
Their K2 meter was fully lit up at this point.

No

Early in the investigation I had left a recorder unattended in one room of the opera house. When I listened to the recorder later I found this. The first part of the recording is a car. Immediately after is this.
